A common problem is that the erection subsides too quickly.
In such cases, a pubis ring can help to prolong your erection by strangling the outflow of blood from the penis. This method is harmless if the band remains on the penis for a maximum of one hour. Pubis rings can be used individually, or together with other methods.
The vacuum pump works by placing a plastic cylinder over the penis and then pumping the air out of the cylinder so that the erectile tissue becomes filled with blood. When sufficient stiffness is achieved, a rubber band is placed around the base of the penis. The band should not remain on for more than one hour. This method of the treatment of ED is completely safe, simple and works well even in severe vascular changes and when drugs cannot be used or are not working.
